Day 7 (02 Jan 09): 九份 + 士林夜市
This is our final day in Taipei before going back to Singapore tomorrow. We went to 九份 by bus today to do some sightseeing. The bus journey took us about 2hrs as it was a public holiday in Taipei and there was quite a bit of traffic jam on our way there. Seems like a lot of people are going there. It started to drizzle when we arrived there. The place was super packed. We had a hard time moving among the crowd. There was a section that we were stuck among the crowd and couldn’t even move at all. Even YY was starting to get frustrated being jammed in the crowd. Lucky we managed to push our way through. YY had phobia with that and was trying to find out if there are other ways to get back to the bus stop. Seems like that is the only way so we have to squeeze through on our way back again. I bought lots of food there cause there are a lot of nice food there. We finished 九份 at about 3pm and made our way back to Taipei. I was so tired that I fell asleep on YY’s shoulder. Bro, thank you for lending me your shoulder. We went back to the hotel to put our stuff before proceeding to 士林夜市 for some last minute shopping & dinner. Eileen & Kevin decided not to join us cause they wanna do some of their own shopping. I managed to get some nice & cheap tops there. We finished at bout 9.30pm at 士林夜市. Place is packed so we decided to buy food back to hotel to eat. I spent the rest of the night packing my stuff since I bought so many things. YY is so tired that he slept while I was still packing. Oh, just in case you didn’t know, I bunked in with YY during the trip and we even slept on the same bed cause hotel ran out of Twin rooms for the last 3 nights. Fortunately or unfortunately, nothing happened between us. If you think I would “rape” him, I didn’t cause I am too tired to do anything to him. He is definitely still safe & sound after the trip.
