Let Go If Its Not Meant To Be Yours

Heard this sentence from a fren today. He was looking at me when he said that. I guess its really meant for me to listen. I know that there are some feelings that I have been holding on to and haven been able to let go. I also know that there is nothing I can do cause he is not meant to be mine. I guess its about time to really let go. I need to let go of the feelings I have for this man as well as the memories we had. There is really no point holding on to them knowing there is no outcome. Think I can only move on when I learn to let go. Its about time to say goodbye to all the memories & feelings..........

Weakest Link

I always tell some of frens that they are weakest link. Think I am one too. Sometimes I wish my heart is as tough as my character. I do have a very tough character but I have a soft heart. l will make noise but at the end of the day, I will still help. I really think I am such a loser. Thats nothing wrong having a soft heart but you are always the one who loose out at the end of the day. I know some of my frens will scold me if they know what I have done today but I can't help it. I really think I am hopeless. (*o*)

Bowling 13 Mar 08

Finally back to my bowling practices after a long break. Been longing to play but my frens were not free. We went back to Superbowl Hougang cause the lanes were good. It was raining the whole day. A fren even asked if the bowling session is a rain or shine event??? Nearly fainted when I heard that question. Bowling is an indoor event so dun think we will cancel it jus because its raining heavily outside. We only played 2 games cause some of us are tired after a long day's work. My scores were ok but didn't manage to hit my target of 100. I scored 83 & 98 for the 2 games. Our best players are still Sai Kit & Hui Lam. Look forward to the next practice but may have to wait another 2 weeks since I be going for my Tokyo trip soon. Hope to hit my target the next time. 전투

A Special Message

This post is written specially for "YOU". Dun think I will ever have the chance to tell you so I have decided to write them in my blog hoping that you read it. You are someone who gave me some very good memories but sometimes I really hope it was just a dream. I wish that nothing had happened and we were still good frens.

Have you ever wonder why I have been avoiding you? Guess maybe not cause to you, such things dun matter. I really thought we could still be good frens but guess it was my wishful thinking. I couldn't see the effort in you wanting us to continue to be frens. Suddenly I woke up from my dreams and realize that maybe I was just a tool to you. You probably treated me as someone whom you can have fun with and also help you. You may wonder why I had such thoughts? Reflect on your actions and ask yourself. I was always there for you when you needed help. I was always there when you needed someone to talk to. Have I ever disappoint you? Never. But you have disappoint me again and again for the past few months. Promises were never kept. Maybe you couldn't even remember what you said to me when you decided to end this relationship. You never seem concern about frens' problems. You simply live in your own world. You only associate with people who can help you in one way or another. Maybe I was blinded by my feelings towards you and didn't see that. Its time I regain my sight and see the road ahead of me. Were you grateful to all the things I have done for you, I doubt? You may have regretted what you have done. I never regretted the path I took cause I could only blame myself for being stupid. I thought you were truthful to me and till this day, I still try to convince myself that you are. I told myself that we were both not wrong but just didn't know when to stop. I kept blaming myself for what had happened. Now to me, these are all crap. I was the only one who didn't know that what I was doing was wrong. I seriously don't think I owe you anything anymore. If its within my ability, I will still help you as a friend but don't expect more cause I am really tired and disappointed with you. You know I will never say no to you cause I still having feelings for you but please dun take advantage of me anymore. I have cried many times over you and till now my heart still hurts. I even started to hate you although I did promise that I won't. Its really about time to end all these pain you have caused to me. Its time to let go ........

Well, continue to live in your own world and I really hope you are happy. I will continue to pursue my own happiness. Well, guess even if you read this, it may not even make a difference to you. Take care and please dun repeat the same mistake again.

Friendship

I remembered that I wrote something about friendship sometime in Oct 07. Here is another one to add on to the one I wrote earlier. Sometimes I feel that friendship is a very amazing thing. It is something that many cannot live without. But I do know a fren who can survive without frens. Good luck to him.

Anyway, has anyone ever think how do you consider a person your fren or what do you see in a friendship. I never really had many frens last time so never thought about this question. Recently, I started to think about it. I feel that a fren is someone who is true to you and be there for you when you need him/her. A fren should always keep in touch with you and be concern with your problems. As a good fren, you should always try to remember your frens' birthday. It is very disappointing when you forget. I always treat my frens truly. Although sometimes I will suan them but I will always give them my assistance if they need help. I just hate it when they take advantage of my good will. I may be kind at heart but that does not mean I can be bullied.

I have seen people who claimed to be your good frens but they only look for you when they needed help. For these people, I dun consider this as friendship, it seems more like networking. A fren told me today that people make use of one another in life and you can never expect a fren to treat you the same way you treat him/her. I think its quite true. People are born selfish, you always do things that are for your own benefit. I made some frens through work. Some of them whom I am still in touch with although we are no longer working together, these I consider them frens. I have frens who also read my blog regularly to keep themselves updated about my life. I am very touched by their effort cause they may have not have time to catch up with me so the only way to find out how I am is to read my blog. There are some who calls me immediately when they find out that I am upset. I am truly grateful for their friendship.

I have also come to realize that there are frens who treat us as a "reserve" or "backup". They always never reply to appointments cause they will only come if they dun have other dates or plans. Why you can't you give your frens the priority if they date you first??? Cannot understand these people??? Anyway I hate being a "reserve" or "backup". The feeling sucks. If you cannot even remember that your frens have dated you, that shows how unimportant your frens are to you. Frens who always auto-pilot are also losers.

For all my frens out there, please remember my birthday is on 19th April hor, I'll be very disappointed if you forget.

Baby Milo by A Bathing Ape x Nintendo DS Lite

Just found out from a Hong Kong magazine that Nintendo DS Lite is releasing a crossover edition with Baby Milo by Bathing Ape in Tokyo on 1 Apr 08 and it only cost Yen16,800. Too bad I am coming back from Tokyo on 28 Mar, if not I sure go buy it.

Two styles can be seen with a gold/white design and a white/color design, both featuring the heads of Mario, Baby Milo and Mario-related power-ups. The white version will be a Nigo's Favorite Shop exclusive, with a slated release date for April 1st.

Disneyland Pass Holders

Beng just came back from Tokyo and he managed to help me get the Disneyland Pass Holders. Many many thanks for his help. Anyway I have been collecting them since my 1st trip to Tokyo Disneyland 6 years ago. Seems like only Tokyo & Hong Kong has that cause my frens didn't manage to get for me from Paris & US. Anyway the ones from Tokyo are nicer and they always have different designs during different season. Since I am writing about it now, let me showcase my collections to you.

Rainy Sunday

As usual, Sunday is a day that I can sleep in and rot at home. I normally sleep till about 2-3pm cause thats the only day I can catch up on my beauty sleep. Woke up at about 11am today cause sista Abby need to discuss bout Tokyo trip over msn. Didn't go back to sleep after that. Decided to surf the net to download some programs and also finish some work that I brought home to do. Today is a good day to stay home and sleep cause it rained the whole day. Its been raining for the past 2 Sundays and you really dun feel like going out in such a weather.

Managed to load new episodes of korean variety program "Real Romance" into my iPod. Many thanks to my supplier Catherine. I can't download any programs since my Tudou crashed. Now need to depend on my suppliers to give me the programs. I have been watching alot of korean variey shows recently. Was watching X-Man and now Real Romance. The shows are very interesting & funny. They invite korean celebs to be in the shows. My favs are Shinhwa & Kim Jong Kook. If you interested to watch these shows, you can try find them over Tudou or Youtube.

Preparation for Tokyo Trip

Finally we are counting down to our Tokyo trip on 22 Mar 08. Another 13 days before I step into the land of Tokyo again. My last trip was in Feb 2003 so its been 5 years since my last visit. I really miss the culture, people, food & shopping in Tokyo. Yesterday, I met up with my travel mates Abby, Philip & Catherine for a short discussion on our itinerary. We are planning to go so many places and the time is really not enough. Here are some of the places we be going:
- Shinjuku
- Harajuku
- Shibuya
- Omotesando
- Disneyland
- Garden Walk Outlet
- Odaiba
- Daikanyama
- Ropponggi
- Asakusa
- Ueno

I have also planned my shopping list and seems like I've got alot of stuff to buy. That includes all my fav brands such as Bathing Ape, Head Porter, Vivienne Westwood, Anna Sui, Agnes B, Beams Boy, Comme Ca etc. I be also visiting the Bathing Ape Cafe in Harajuku as well as all the Bathing Ape shops. Think this trip is going to burn a big hole in my pocket. Well, I will treat this as a birthday gift for myself this year. I am definitely very excited and am sooo looking forward to this trip.

KTV @ Partyworld Int'l Bldg

Since the last DF session, haven really got the chance to practice my singing. Decided to date YY, Cheryl & Sharol go ktv and sing out hearts out yesterday. We booked the room from 8pm-12am cause I had an appointment in the afternoon.

I managed to sing my fav Jay Chou & Angela Chang songs and also practice some new songs with YY. Realize that our voices can blend well with each other. Suggest to YY that maybe we can go join karaoke competition together. Haha. I still feel that my voice is pretty inconsistent, cannot seem to maintain the standard. Maybe my skills are not good enough. Must continue to practice & improve my singing skills. Guess next ktv session will probably be in April cause I be going to Tokyo in 2 weeks time so no time to practice again.

JB 06 Mar 08

Yesterday, Sai Kit jio me & Edy go JB and eat dinner cause he needs to collect some stuff there. We nearly cancelled the trip cause we thought there is going to be a heavy traffic jam at the checkpoint. Surprisingly there was not much traffic at all. After collecting his things, Sai Kit brought us to go eat Yong Tau Fu at this shop call Ah Kun (not our Ah Kun coffee shop). They are popular for their fishcakes. Sai Kit highly recommended the fried wantan which is really yummy. After dinner, he brought us to go eat dessert but I dun know the name of the place lah. Me & Edy had durian ice kachang & Sai Kit had ice kachang. The dessert are also delicious. We had wanted to go JB Season bakery to buy their otah bun cause it's very nice but the shop we went to only left with 2 pieces so me & Edy each took one. Next time must try to buy many many back. Sai Kit also promise to bring us go eat steamboat the next time. Look forward to our next food trip to JB.

Bowling???

I was going through my blog for 2008 and realize that we've only had 2 bowling sessions this year. We may have to temporary stop our practices since YY is leaving soon and he may not have the time to join us for the next few months cause he has got other priorities. Wondering if I should continue to organise them or just stop for some time. Well, I am just worried that my skills will get rusty if I rest for too long. Haiz, really miss the bowling practices.

Fresh Seafood @ East Coast Lagoon

Today we decided to visit Daphne's hubby hawker stall @ East Coast Lagoon Food Centre. It is call Fresh Seafood (stall number 21). Daphne is temporary working there so we decided we should go support her. Me, Cheryl, Sharol, Eileen, Sai Kit, Mycle & Hui Lam were there.

We went there at about 9pm cause need to wait for some to finish their training. We were all very hungry when we reached there. As it was our first time there, we let Daphne help us with the ordering. We had mussels, fried fish, fried calamari, fried chicken (something like popcorn chicken), fried prawn, fried crab & fried seafood toufu. The food is yummy especially the seafood toufu. I was super full when we left. Will go back and support her again when I have the chance.

Thank you Hui Lam, Sai Kit & Mycle for bringing us there too cause its not really accessible by public transport.

How to Make Others Like Me?

Everyone wishes to be liked or thought well of by others. Many suffer when this wish goes unfulfilled. How, then, can one be liked by others?

Those who are not liked by others tend to have 4 weaknesses. One, they are self-centered. Two, they look down on others. Three, they disregard others’ opinions. Four, they are not concerned about others.

To be liked by others, one should try to like other people, make efforts to view things from others’ perspective, and sincerely listen to what others say. In short, one who does not like others cannot expect to be liked. Roman poet Silius said, “People are interested in those who show an interest in them,” and a French proverb says: ”Consideration makes friends.”

Soka Gakkai International President Ikeda said, “If you remain sincere in your interactions with others, you will one day find yourself surrounded by good friends. And among those people, your friendship will be as strong and unshakable as towering trees. Don’t be impatient. Work first on developing yourself, and you can be rest assured that an infinite number of wonderful encounters await you in the future.”

Anyway if you are starting to wonder how come suddenly I can write so well, the truth is, this is NOT written by me. I copied from an article I saw in SSA Times.

Loser

I have been using this word pretty often recently so decided to write something about it. What is the definition of "loser"? This is one of the definition in the dictionary: one who loses.

I have a few definitions of my own:
01) One who never keep promises
02) One who always try to get all the attention
03) One who runs away from problems
04) One who avoids the person he/she has let down
05) One who always cannot make his/her own decisions
06) One who refused to admit that he/she lost
07) One who makes use of friends for their own benefits
08) One who betrays
09) One who is so damn afraid of their spouse/partner
10) One who uses violence on their spouse/partner
11) One who refuse to admit to their mistakes
12) One who thinks too highly of themselves
13) One who is unkind to people
14) One who hurts others emotionally

I can only think of these at this moment. Will add on if I can think of more.

I am no saint too, there are also times when I feel that I am a loser. Today, I saw a fren on my way home and purposely avoided him. Maybe few months back, I would be very happy when I see him but now things are different. I will try to avoid him so that I won't get hurt again. At that point of time, I feel that I am a loser.

Its ok to be a loser sometimes but don't be one forever. Don't let others keep thinking you are a loser. Never repeat the same mistakes.

Bad Hair Cut

I know I haven been writing anything on my blog for some time and some of frens missed my blogs. Anyway was talking to my sista Sharol today and she suggested that I write about my bad hair cut.

My last hair cut was before CNY and my hair grew quite fast. Decided to go get a trim on Sat after visiting the NATAs fair. I was a bit tired so didn't really noticed how my stylist cut my hair. Anyway she has been cutting my hair for few years so thought I could trust her. I nearly fainted when she finished cutting my hair cause the back of my hair is a disaster. She cut it too short and it looks funny. Lucky the front still look ok. All my frens whom I met after my haircut all said that its looks bad. I am soooo upset with my stylist. Fortunately I still have 3 weeks to grow back my hair before my Tokyo trip. If not, I will probably have to wear hats or caps for the whole trip.

If you hope to see a picture of my bad hair cut here, NO WAY. I dun even wanna see the back of my hair not to mention take a picture of it. Frens, if you happen to read my blog, dun bother to ask what happen to my hair the next time you see me. I am DAMN PISSED with it.
