Went for a drinking session with some frens last night. We were supposed to go the The Pump but they were fully booked and we can only come back at about 10pm. We then decided to go to Brewerks but were told that we need to wait for about 30-45mins. Went back to the Clinic at The Cannery and we received a call from Brewerks telling us the table is available when we just sat down. Decided to go back to Brewerks for the drinking session. I walked till my leg is so damn tired. Anyway our drinking session started officially at about 8pm, we ordered different types of beers. I had Blueberry ale which I thought was ok only. Well maybe because I have never really liked beer. I prefer drinking liquors or mixers. Chivas is still the best. We talked, joked & laughed a lot. It was a pretty fun session except that it ended a bit too late. I had wanted to be home before 12am so that I be home before my parents. The session finished at about 11.30pm and by time I got a cab, its almost 12am. I was really worried that my parents would be home by the time I get home. Lucky for me, they weren’t home yet when I went back. I quickly took my bath and went to sleep. Slept at about 1am and I am super tired this morning. Had to drag myself out of bed to come to work. Now still very sleepy leh. Think must sleep early tonight. Yawn.......
We have a new staff joining us today at CS Centre. HR had given me his photo earlier and we thought he was not bad looking but when I went over to HR to bring him over this morning, I was a bit disappointed cause not that good looking and he is quite soft spoken too. Must say that sometimes photos can be quite deceiving. Haha.
Had to go over to Popular @ Bras Basah during lunch today to collect 5 copies of Oxford Dictionaries needed for the writing workshop tomorrow. Lucky I have 2 frens who agreed to go with me to help. Must really thank these 2 guys for helping cause the dictionaries were heavy.
Arigato Gozaimasu to Hui Lam & Beng. (^o^)
We had lunch at a nearby shop that sells really nice chicken rice & pork chop. Very yummy but I cannot remember the street name, only know the direction to go.
Anyway, still got to pick up another 3 copies from Kino @ Taka later, think I should be able to manage lah. Tomorrow is gonna be another long day cause we have to attend a writing course at Alex, its so damn far lor. Going to take a cab cause boss say I can claim since I am bringing the dictionaries. Secret

Today I received a very wonderful gift: The soundtrack for the movie "Secret".
I didn't manage to buy it cause I was pretty busy during the week and when I wanted to go buy it, it is sold out island wide. A fren actually manage to get it for me which makes me really happy. I do not know why I wanted the sountrack so much. Maybe its limited edition or maybe it reminds me of some very good memories. Listening to the soundtrack now and the songs really touch my heart. Well, must say that the movie is the best I have watched this year.

Monday Blues
For the 1st time in my life, I am glad to be back at work on Monday. My friends in the office were really encouraging. They have been really supportive of my decision. Most important of all, I have got my best friend Abby who was always there for me when I needed her. Guess friends really play an important part in our lives.
Though I am still worried for him but at least now I know that we have a friend Irene who knows and can help him pull through this tough time. I also have to learn to let go so that he can move on.
Now the tough part is how to break this news to my parents. Maybe my mom can accept it but think my dad might be pretty mad. Really hope my family can understand my decision.
Today, I cancelled my leave which I applied for the Canadian trip and guess what, my boss Alicia is sooo happy that I cancelled my leave. In a good way, maybe she cannot do without me, thats why she is so happy. haha
After being sick for 2 weeks, today I finally get to taste some good food. Had fried kway teow & satay (yummy) for dinner and I really miss eating them. Though I still have got my voice back fully but at least I managed to sing at the last DF session.
We barely got over the last drinking session at DF and today we are already planning for another one this week. Think we all are hooked on liquor. Well, sometimes its good to get yourself high and just forget about some things. Even though we may still need to face reality when we are sober but at least we were happy when we were high. As most of the DF members know, I have put in lots of effort into organising the DF sessions and sometimes I get pretty upset when people tell me that they do not want to go for no reason or some minor reason. Well, I do have some who are super supportive and never missed a single session. Thank you guys for your continous support hor.
Oops, still got work to finish.....got to go back to writing the Managers' Meeting minutes.

DF Club
Jus saw a veri touching write up by my brother YY in his blog about our DF club outing on 24 Aug. I must say that it has been a very fun evening though I got pretty drunk. I didn't even eat the Strawberry Shortcake we bought to celebrate the promotions. Must remember to eat the next time. haha.
I am not the da jie da that he says I am but think no one in the club dares to mess around with me. I must say that I did put in alot of effort into organising the outings since our 1st session in April. I enjoyed the company of these friends and I hope to keep it running as long as I can. Think we have really build a strong bond among this group of frens. This session is also pretty special cause we have got 4 members who was recently promoted in their job. This calls for a celebration right. Anyway I am starting to run out of ideas and guess what, next session we need to celebrate for 4 frens' birthday. DF members, any ideas pls let me know hor (^o^)

Lost
I never like to write cause I always thought that I am not that good with writing. But suddenly today I feel like penning my thoughts down somewhere and I guess this is the best way.
This weekend is the worst i have experienced in my life. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 3+years yesterday. Reason for break up: I don't love him anymore. I suddenly feel that I am very cruel to do this to him. He has been sending me sms to tell me how sorry he is and how he regretted on the things he had done. Really didn't know that his feelings for me are so deep. I should be the one saying sorry to him. It is my decision to end this 3 years relationship. Friends have been telling me that once I made the decision, I should not regret on it. I really didn't know that this will hurt him so much. I must say that I am very selfish. I know he is not taking it that well but I really hope that he can move on with his life. As for me, I will have to manage my life without him and also inform my family about this decision. Guess there are times that we would have to make difficult decisions. I hope that one day I can happily tell everyone that we both have move on with our lives.

They have been a great help by giving me advices. I have learnt alot and grown alot lately. They have promised to help me move on with my life and I am sure that I can do it with their support.

Brewerks
