2009 Valentine's Day Celebration

Was chatting with Sharol over sms this morning and realize that only 2 of us left who are still single to celebrate this year's Valentine's Day together. Last year, there were still 4 of us to celebrate together. With the other 2 ladies Cheryl & Eileen attached, this year only left Sharol & me. We decided that we shall buy each other flowers and go out to celebrate on 13th Feb so that we can avoid seeing all the loving couples in the streets on the 14th. This is my 2nd year spending Valentine's Day with friends. I realize that you can still celebrate Valentine's Day without a partner cause you can still show your love for your friends. It's just like Christmas Day which is also celebrated by many non-Christians. For the past few years, I will prepare chocolates for my friends & colleagues and I will probably do the same this year. Though it's sad not to be able to spend it with your love ones, but you can still celebrate this special occasion with your friends. So calling all my SINGLE friends out there, join us for our Valentine's Day celebration on the 13th if you do not have any dates yet. But I still hope that my friends who still are still single can find their the other half soon.
