Think I am pretty unlucky this CNY cause more things happened to me after the fever. While I was bathing with my 39 degrees high fever on CNY, I realized that I had a bad bruise on my left waist area. It looks pretty bad & was a bit swelling. And I couldn't even remember where or when I hurted that area. Think I was too sick to even notice the pain there. I recovered from the abdominal strain but now also cannot sleep well on my left side due to the bruise. Haiz...
Another unlucky incident happened yesterday. Thought that my fever was gone so decided to go for a movie with some close frens at Downtown East. When I was preparing to go out, my right arm accidentally hit my window grill and that left my right arm aching for the whole afternoon. I didn't realize the injury until I came home yesterday. This left me another bruise on my right arm. Now I've 2 big bruise on my body.
You think my luck has gotten better? NO!!! A stupid incident happened again this morning which is why I am at home writing blog at this hour. I normally brought my office lappy home over the weekends so that I can do some work at home. As usual, I brought it home over CNY thinking that I may need it. As I was sick, the lappy was left there to rot on it's own. In my hurry to go to work this morning, I forgot to take my lappy. I didn't even realized it until I arrived in the office. Stupid right? Think all of you must be laughing away when you read this part. Anyway since I am still down with sore throat, flu & cough, decided to go see a doctor first. Doctor gave me an MC so I might as well come home and rest. I can still work since lappy is at home anyway. Anyway I didn't managed to even log in to my company email cause the wireless on my office lappy refuse to work. Suay right? To make things worse this morning, I didn't have enough time put on my make up, my pants were too loose even though I just bought them 2 months ago, my shirt refuse to stay in my pants and my shoes were damn uncomfortable. Lucky they are a pair of cheap shoes from Taiwan so I changed into my spare one in the office and left those uncomfortable ones rotting away. No way I am gonna wear them again cause I was cursing & swearing when I walked to the office this morning. I think things could have been better on my 1st day at work after CNY. Not sure if it is due to the fengshui in my office. Never been so "heng" leh.
I am seriously praying very hard that my "good" luck will end here cause I dun think my aging body can take anymore crap. If all these happened to me just so that I can exchange for something better, I seriously dun mind. I am gonna keep my fingers crossed. Hope I can update good stuff in my future posts.
