Day 3 (29 Dec 08): Taipei City – 北投温泉 + 淡水 + 渔人码头 + 士林夜市
Today, we had scheduled to go故宫博物院 but decided to give it a miss cause we were too tired to wake up so early to go. First place of interest for the day was北投温泉. We went to this hot spring resort call Spring Resort 春天酒店. The price is about NT800 which is not that cheap but the hot spring is nice. YY & JC didn’t joined us cause YY is worried that his back cannot take the hot spring and JC decided to keep him company. We were in there for about an hour and it was a great experience since it’s my 1st time. Our body felt so relaxed after the hot spring and felt so sleepy when we were on our way to our next destination淡水. It was raining when we arrive in 淡水. Had lunch there and also walked around that area before taking ferry to go 渔人码头. It was very quiet at渔人码头 cause it was Monday and many shops didn’t open. We took some pictures there before making our way back to 淡水. After 淡水, we went to士林夜市 for some shopping & dinner. Cheryl & JC bought couple t-shirts there which one is 宅男 and the other宅女. YY also bought this one with the words 小强精神 on it. They’ve got pretty interesting t-shirts there. I bought a pair of shoes and also some undergarments. The undergarments there only cost NT$150 for a set which is less than S$10. Went on the food centre for our dinner. We had鸡排, 蚵仔煎 and also Mango Ice. I was feeling so bloated when we left the night market. We need to go back early to pack our bags cause we are leaving for Alishan on the next day.
