Among all the events I've organised, there isn't any Mooncake Festival gathering. Anyway this one is not organised by me. It's organised by YY, our cold joke king. It was nice of them to suggest & even offered to organise the event. There wasn't much he had to do except for coordinating the attendance & getting the mooncakes. Another task for him was to get the birthday present for Irene. In the end, Irene went to get the mooncakes. The timing for the event was scheduled to be at 4pm. Some of us were a bit puzzled with the timing since a good time to eat mooncakes would be when the moon is out. We were not told on why the timing was so early so wanted to ask to change it to a later timing. Later realized that it was because Chee Ming had to bring his kids back for dinner so need to meet earlier. Well, guess if we told the reason earlier, there weren't be so much confusion. We had a pretty good time eating all the yummy mooncakes that Irene bought & also took this opportunity to catch up with one another. This is different from our DF gathering sessions. The company is a more mature gang & there are also kids. Anyway I had lots of fun and some of us even continued with KTV after that. Hope we can organise many more such gatherings in future.
