My Shinco Portable DVD player has been down for a few months and I haven got the time to send it for repair cause the service centre is only open on weekdays from 9am to 6pm & its at a pretty ulu place lah. Finally got a chance to do it today. A fren was driving today and I asked her if she could fetch me there. She was so kind to agree and I took half day leave to finish this task. The person checked and told me that there is problem with the on/off switch that caused the problem. Well, dun know if its true cause it always hang when I was watching my dvds halfway. Hope they can repair it cause I still need the player even though I have my laptop now. Yesterday, bought a webcam for my laptop and also sign up for an account in Skype so that I can chat with my cousin in Dubai. Haven tested it yet. Its still nicely packed & kept in my cupboard now. Maybe can try it over the weekend lah.
Was meeting a fren for dinner in orchard and went over to Kinokuniya to see if there are any mags I can buy. Guess what, I managed to buy the "Secrets" dvd (limited edition). I was looking for it but could only find the normal dvd version, bought that anyway. I was pretty happy when I found the limited edition version. Though its not as meaningful as the soundtrack I have but I just wanna keep a copy of it lor. Now I can loan the normal version to my frens. Really love this movie. Best I have watched this year.
