Birthday 2010 (Part 2)

I decided to take a day off on my birthday on 19 April 2010. Sometimes I do work if I do not have any plans but this year, I decided to take a break. Celebrated with my friends earlier since my birthday falls on a Monday. Since I am not working, I shall not stay at home and let my mom nag at me on my 33rd birthday. Managed to get a friend to accompany me on this special day. I shall not disclosed who is this friend as my friend made me promised not to disclose his/her identity if he/she keep me company on my birthday. Anyway since it was my birthday, I get to choose what I wanna do or eat. We met for lunch at Vivocity Marche follow by dessert at 满记 (my fav dessert shop from Hong Kong). After lunch, we took a bus to the newly opened Resort World @ Sentosa. I've never been there since it opened so decided to check the place out when it's not so crowded on a weekday. Well, the place didn't impress me. The place was not air-conditioned and it was a hot day. I was sweating while trying to check out the stores around. The place is big but not all the shops & restaurants have opened. I managed to get some chocolates from Hershey's Chocolate Store. Went to the Universal Studio souvenir shop but left empty handed. I didn't go to the Casino or Universal Studio cause don't want to pay for the entrance fees. Also went to the Victoria Secret store but there was nothing much to buy. Ended up just walking around the place and took some photos. After that, took the monorail back to Vivocity. It started to pour when we arrived at Vivocity so decided to have dinner there at Dian Xiao Er. After dinner, we shopped a little at Vivocity & I got myself a dress & jumper shorts from Zara Kids. This is how I spent my birthday this year. It was a quiet but eventful day. Hope I will have someone to celebrate with me next year.
