Most of my friends know that I like to do travel planning. So far I've done planning for countries such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Bangkok. I like to travel free & easy cause this allows me to have more time to shop. That's why I like to plan my own travel itinerary. Recently, I've taken up a new project. That is from travel planning to wedding planning. I've never done wedding planning for anyone so this is my first try. It was really nice of the wedding couple JC & Cheryl to give me this opportunity to do the planning. I also took up the task as their wedding banquet emcee.
Without any experience in this area, I've spent a fair bit of time searching the internet for information & templates to do the planning. I am not doing everything for them. I mainly help with planning of the actual day schedule, emcee script, guest list and some other minor preparations.
There is still alot to do before the BIG day on 27 March 2010. So far I've only assisted them in the guest list & invites preparation. Now working on the emcee script with my co-emcee YY. Gonna start working on the actual day itinerary soon too. Likely to also meet up with the other jiemeis to discuss on how to sabotage the groom on the actual day. Seems like I am gonna be the "wicked" jiemei on that day since the other jiemeis don't sound experienced.
I am certainly glad to be part of this special day for my good fren Cheryl and hope to make it a memorable day for them.
