Reflecting on Oneself

There are many times when one does not reflect on oneself. For example, when one breaks up with their partner, they always put it across to others that they do not know what's wrong & people may think it's the partner's fault to break up. We need to do self reflection at times. It takes 2 hands to clap in a relationship. There must be problems between both parties. Never put the blame on the other party when there is a break up. Do a self reflection to find out the problems. Some people may think that they are at fault but never bother to find out the problem and improve on oneself. We need to constantly improve. We need to learn from past relationships and not make the same mistake in future relationships. A relationship is about understanding, communication & compromise. If we do not understand our partner well enough, then it is difficult to make it work. We also need to have proper communication, a couple without communication will never be able to make things work. Both parties also need to compromise. You cannot expect only your partner to compromise and you don't. Moreover, we should not emotional blackmail our partner. We should not use love to threaten our partner. Never compare your love with others. Love someone who can be your soul mate and not for all the superficial things such as looks, status, financial stability, car etc. So long you can work hand in hand, these things will come along the way.
