DF Session 22 Feb 2008

Its time for our once a month gathering for the people of DF club. This month we are also there to celebrate YY & Selina's birthday. As usual, there were people who drank their sorrows away and end up drunk, there were ones who are forced to drink by others and got drunk, there were ones who drank alot but couldn't get drunk and there were also some who couldn't drink cause they drove. I am starting to see that people do crazy things when they are high or drunk. I tried drinking alot to get drunk but I sad to say I was pretty awake when it ended. Surprisingly, this time it was me & Cheryl who were pretty sober when the session ended. I only started to get a bit high on my way home. I concluded that it is not the alcohol that made you drunk but your mind. When a person's mind is weak or you are upset, you tend to let your body be controlled by the alcohol. Maybe that's why I was sober yesterday. Normally I am the first to get high or drunk. I must apologise to my brother YY cause I made him drank half a glass of Chivas neat and he end up really drunk.

Actually the people who agreed to attend this session were really pathetic, never had such a bad response. Not wanting to disappoint brother YY, I tried to convince those who cannot make it to be there for a while. I am really glad that many of them came. A BIG THANK YOU to Daphne, Beng, Hui Lam, Mycle & Sharol for coming. I really appreciate their effort in coming cause this shows that you do treasure your friendship with YY & Selina. Even Daphne who had to help at her husband's stall managed to get time off to come celebrate for YY & Selina. I am really touched by your sincerity. Thank you so much again for being there and so sorry if there was an inconvenience caused in order for you to be there.

Things are getting really complicated among the people in DF club. Although I did mentioned before that I will not disband the club but I cannot help thinking that maybe I should just organise it on a smaller basis for people who interested in coming. I am very tired of having to beg people to come. Maybe its easier if you tell me that you have no intention to attend the sessions anymore so I won't even need to send you an invitation.

Anyway the session for March might be resheduled to 28 March cause we had intended to celebrate Beng birthday & also farewell for YY who has resigned. Guess soon I will need to form a alumni DF club since most of them have left AIA. Anyway I be away in Tokyo so Cheryl will help with the last minute coordinating. Hope you all can give her your support.
