You may have read from my earlier posts about DF Club. Maybe I can briefly explained how we started DF Club. It was started sometime in May 07 after our 1st session to Dragonfly in Apr 07 to celebrate my birthday. We had a pretty fun session and decided to go there on monthly basis. We applied for the membership in May and that's how DF Club started. We are just a group of young people who enjoy singing and drinking.
I dun know how but I became the organiser for these monthly sessions but I have run the club for 6mths and I hope that I can continue to organise more events for this group of frens. Recently there are some frens in the group who kept asking me to disband the DF club as the participation rate has been low. Jus to share that I have never thought of disbanding it even though there were people who were not interested to go. I know that going to DF every month can be an expensive hobby for some of my frens. I have never forced them to go but I would appreciate that they let me know early if they cannot make it so that we won't book such a big room and the expenses are lower. Please do understand that some of your frens may need to pay more just because of your childish behaviour of not informing the group earlier unless its some last minute matters.
DF club is just a name that we gave to the group. We may not need to go Dragonfly to be called DF club, we can organise other activities. Recently YY has been organising bowling sessions. I simply do not understand why it it so difficult to keep a group of frens together? Maybe not all treat us as frens, we may be just acquaintances to them. Maybe they only need us when they are lonely or bored. Maybe they think that frens do not play an important part in their life. Maybe there is no such thing call 义气 anymore.
The purpose of this post is to tell my frens of the DF club that I will not disband DF club even if there is only 1 person left in the club. I cannot stop you if you decide not the participate in the activities but I will continue to try my best to keep everyone together for as long as I can. Trust me, you cannot always find a group of frens whom you can get alongwith so well so do treasure this friendship. Dun ever take your frens for granted. You will never know when you need them.

Disband DF Club???
